For the first of two overnight stays on our South America cruise adventure, we will dock our fabulous home at sea, the Celebrity Equinox, for 34 glorious hours in the electric city of Rio De Janeiro!
During the daylight hours, Rio, as it is affectionately known, offers many iconic experiences for all of your senses. For beach lovers, Copacabana and Ipanema are must-visit spots, each offering unique atmospheres and activities, from sunbathing to vibrant nightlife. Nature enthusiasts can explore Tijuca National Park, one of the largest urban rainforests in the world, which features diverse flora and fauna, waterfalls, and scenic hiking trails.
